Hi guys,
Abacha/Nsisa, a delicacy in the Nigerian culture especially among the Eastern tribe (the Ibos) is a delicacy made from cassava. It is usually served when you have special guests, or during weddings/ wedding introductions. It is also known as African salad😋
It can also be eaten alone as a light snack (soaked in water with freshly cut coconut/roasted peanuts).
It’s a great light meal for family/movie night with a nice glass of fruit wine/soda
In this video, I prepared my abacha/nsisa with smoked cat fish, palm oil, onions & other spices.
This will go well with a nice bottle of wine or soda.
Check out the main video on my YouTube channel: Cooking with love – Chichi’s kitchen.
Cookware:
– From @Williams Sonoma Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature French Oven 2 1/2 Qt.
